h&r race springs /w koni sport yellows - Good setup?
I just ordered a set of h&r race springs with koni sport(yellow) adjustable shocks for front and rear. Just wonder if this would give me a good ride. Or would i been better of with coilovers and crappy shocks. Thank for the posts
Your ride should be ready for the road,I have the race springs and there great
The car has a perfect drop IMO,the only issue I've found is it will scrape you just have to be careful what you drive over.

i have the sport springs but the koni yellows too.
and trust me..you don't EVER want crappy shocks.
my stock shocks were blown..and sometimes on turns
or just regular driving..i'd get unneeded bouncing...
when this happens..your tire could bounce completely
off the road *less traction=lose race*
it can also be hard on the rest of your suspension...not
to mention blown shocks i scraped from time to time...
when i hit a big enough dip.
now i just scrape barely when i drive up or down a
steep drive through into a plaza or something
the koni yellows KICK ***. other than price..there is no
comparison to any other shock.
the reason why i got mines
-different height perches if you wanna adjust the height a little
-long lasting
*kyb agx only warranties to a 1.5 inch drop and some
gsr owners report that after a year of using them they
were gone (blown or not as good)
-and of course the adjustability of the stiffness.
i got my koni shocks from http://www.neuspeed.com
they have 5 height perches..i went to the acura dealer
and the ones koni makes for comptech have only 3 height
perches...i think. i'm not sure if the shocks on display were
for the DC2.
anyways..i am a firm believer of get the job done right the
first time..or waste time doing it over again.
koni shocks will get the job done right.
not some crappy shocks..lol
just my opinion.

I made the mistake of using tokico blues with H&R race springs, the front is real bouncy and I do scrape alot on hard bumps, those shocks are just not strong enough,I think there about equal to OEM shocks,I'm on my mission to buy my konis.

My friend had Neuspeed Race on Tokico blue shocks, and he finally changed them out for Konis. Regular Koni Sports have 2 slots in front and 3 in back for the spring perch, while the Neuspeed Konis for Civics/Integras have 5 slots all around, as well as a 20mm shorter shaft for a bit more suspension travel.
