Default Wtf?? What spark plug is this?

Well I decided to do a tune up on my gsr since I had no knowledge what was in it. Then I remove the old plugs and they have this # ZFR5EGP. I go to Ngk website and they ain't listed for my car. So for what car are these just out of curiousity. So I can B**** slap the previous owner

All this on a 97 Ej8 with a 97 Gsr swap

I've got the book here right in front of me.

Looks like ZFR5EGP are for (Hondas at least...):

G-Power Platinum (Single Platinum)
- 86-88 Accord A20A1
- 86-88 Accord A20A3
- 86 Accord BT

Those are the only Hondas listed up to 2008.

I can also read the part number for you.

Z - Extended Gap
F - o 14, 19 mm (3/4") Reach, 16 mm (5/8") Hex.
R - Resistor
5 - (Heat Rating Number from 2 -Hot- to 12 -Cold-)
E - (Firing End Construction)
GP - Platinum Firewall

I believe that's correct... It's a little hazy on this particular plug type.

Even if it did work with some old *** honda's it still leaves no excuse for it to be on a 97 Gsr.

But thanx for the info

I'm sure it works for plenty of other cars. Those just happen to be the only Honda models in the US for it. mayeb he mixed them up from another car?

I collect parts manuals.

It's the NGK Spark Plugs 2007-2008 Automotive Catalog: Passenger Cars, Trucks, Vans, SUVs. I've got the non-automotive one too. Plus lots of other types of parts books.
