hi everybody, i am new and i need some advice
i had an accord 95 DX with 124k miles. I want to make it faster but i don't know where to start.

 

you wont see fast in an accord unless you do one of the following:

... engine swap
... boost it
... internal build

thats all pricey ... so start with the basics ... intake, header, exhaust

 

what is header ???

 

you dont know what a header is ... r u serious? ok i dont know if your playing around but im going to show you one just for kicks ... a header is the aftermarket replacement of a stock exhaust manifold ... here is a picture mine for example:

 

You need to do more reading before making this topic.

 

"Go Fast" is an exercise which often evolves into a constant throwing of money into what feels like a bottomless pit.
The trick is to sit down with pad and paper, be truthful with yourself and identify how you want to drive it (daily driver OR weekend warrior OR banzi ninja) and how much you're willing to spend on your quest to get there.
Next, start reading and researching everything you can possibly get your hands on with regards to your project.
Then you can start lining up your parts and build your project once (and correctly)

I'm not being critical here, and I'm certainly not trying to discourage you. But what I AM trying to do is save you the universal aggravation of spending four(4) times the money really needed because of mis-steps and wrong choices.

i use my car for daily driving, im willing to spend around 3k. So what can i do to get my car goes faster

 

Automatic or Standard (Believe me, It matters)

If you want a quick 50 -75 hp. , consider a nitros set-up. It will keep the car interesting while you line up all the rest of the stuff you'll need.

im thinking of getting a short ram intake, header can someone tell me what brand is good please!!
does a good muffler help ???
