Default how should i adjust my struts.

i just got tanabe struts for my fit, front and rear. i installed then and every thing went ok but i not quite sure on how tight i should make them. should i tighten them in or should i push them out? and how much?

I don't think anyone understands what is being asked. I certainly don't.

If you're asking about tightening the mounting bolts, torque them to the spec in the shop manual. If you're asking something else, what you wrote is not intelligible, so rephrase it.

well once you install them you can spin the strut to tight(pull) the shock towers together. or vise versa to spread the apart.

im not clear on how i should adjust them.

is that better.

When youre installing strut bars, the car should be completely off the ground. Then install the bar. that way when you lower the car the bar will resist the shock towers pushing together.

Correct terminology is important.

A "strut" and a "strut tower brace" are two completely different parts that serve two entirely different functions.
