what rim size do i get for 00 civic??
14" & 15" OEM alloys (made by Enkei) look nice e.g. '96-'00 HX 14" & '99-'00 Si 15" - not ricey at all!
I have both, but prefer the 14" HX alloys (11.75 lbs vs 18.0 lbs): https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1252875
Personally, the only other rims I would consider is 17" Rota Slipstreams - something like that.
If you want your speedo to work (show the correct speed) and don't wanna roll your fenders (rubbing problems)...
Tire sizes: 185/65-14 -- 195/55-15 -- 205/40-17

If you live with crappy roads, go with a 15'' wheel with a 195/50/15 tire or a 205/50/15 if you don't want to tuck tire. If you live with nice roads, go with a 16'' wheel with 205/45/16. If you live with REALLY nice roads, go with a 205/40/16. Do not go with anything bigger than a 16'' wheel.

thanks for all the great advice everyone. i know a lot of tuners are against getting bigger than 16 inch wheels on hondas.. i kinda want to get 17 inch tho. i was thinkin white enkei rfp1 17" 4x100 to match my white 2000 civic hb. so offset 40-45? heres another question.. what makes it okay for some cars to get 17's but not my car? does it have to do with horse power? not that it is but, if got my car up to 500hp, would that make it okay to have 17 inch wheels? oh and btw, the roads by my house are nice, and its only a 2 min commute to work, literally. so basically its a daily driver but it will be driven approx 4 min every day. lol im not too worried about pot holes and that sorta thing
