Default Just got my first integra!!!

So yea i just got my first integra.

-1995 RS four door
-98 front end
-98 rear end
-jdm b20b motor - 2.0 liter - 1998-2000
***EDIT*****
-LS obd-1 ecu
***EDIT*****
-Tan interior
-tan RSX seats
-gsr suspension with skunk2 adjustable coilovers

I'm not sure what I should do next to the car or motor. I'm obviously gonna do a standard tune up but after that, what? I know I wanna stay N/A for now. I've had 3 civic hatches before this, 2 EG and 1 EK. Any suggestions? OH and one more thing.....NO V-TEC HEAD. I'm not baller enough right now to fully build my **** for that much power. UNless you can convince me otherwise.

Anyways, I LOVE MY INTEGRA. I love it already, it's a totally different beast.

[B] EDIT: I got pictures for you guys!! Sorry for the wait, I took plenty since I took forever. Sorry for the crappy pictures, I'm not a pro picture taker

Yeah I had always wanted one but never got around to it until now.

I know this is random question but, what is a good header for a b20b motor?

dude its a b20. you cant bore that anymore safely. boosting that is already asking from trouble

Ummmm...Please do not post false information that will make you look like an idiot, if you do not want to be considered one. The B20B cylinder walls are thinner to accept a larger bore piston. Also, the amount of "boring" is not based on how much "psi" you want to push. In fact the less "boring" you do the better in a boosted application. You want as much cylinder wall as possible. As far as compression, you can lower the compression of an engine by installing a set of lower compression pistons, or even adding a thicker head gasket.

thats if your not going for real power

Again...are you serious? Please have some idea of what you are talking about before you start throwing out all sorts of MISinformation. The purpose of this thread is to help people, not throw out a ton of garbage info that is of no use to the OP. As for your friends B18B swapped civic...if he gained 5 hp with those mods I'd be surprised...and LS and GSR injectors are the same.

FOR THE OP...The B20B is not much of a monster in stock form unless you are talking about torque, and even then we aren't talking crazy numbers, but much better than say an ls. In order to make your B20B "quick" and NA without going to a vtec head you really would need a different set of pistons (higher compression like the B20Z pistons or some later model JDM B20B pistons), and some head work(cams, dual valve springs, and retainers). Also you may want to look into the P8R head, which definitely has better flow characteristics that the original P75 B20B head. One other thing...if your car is a '95 it probably has an OBD1 ls ecu unless the original owner used a jumper harness to go from OBD1 to OBD2. That ecu will run a bit lean, but you should be fine. Good luck!

don't get on here and act like you are a honda god, i appreciate you checking me on the b18b statement where i wasn't aware it had a b20 i skimmed over that,

yay for you

don't continue trying to act as if you know it all, thanks bro have a nice day

and as for your b20 bro i would do no other than the ls/vtec, i know you don't want to dump so much into it but a b20vtech is priceless, other than that, build it boost it.
Guess what tough guy...I am the mechanic and about the injectors; here's the part number 06164-PR4-020 and it is the same for both LS and GSR injectors. Even if you did use larger injectors you would have to tune it to even see a difference, and on a stock ls, I highly doubt there would even be a difference.

Also I never "checked you" on the B18B statement?

Lastly If you read the top of the page it specifically says:

dude its the internet, i made a mistake you corrected me, you didnt have to be a douche about it though, thats my point, you will find misinformation throughout many of these forums, i've corrected a lot of people but i didnt act like an a hole about it

most people are on here to learn, simply by correcting me i learned all d and b series injectors have a consistent flow rate of 240, wow look at that

so screw you dude, have a nice time check all the posts and be an a hole to everyone who isn't all knowledgeable

or that guy could shut up all together. he's a street racer and got caught red handed in the stupid jar. people like him will keep talking about his buddies racing and never do anything of real substance on his car.

This has been a rule.. it's just a matter of people actually sticking to it..

Rule of thumb.. If you are not absolutely positive the information you post is correct.. then say so.. it's no big deal.. as long as you state you are not 100% sure..

Also i'm not seeing some of these post's.. i do see the quotes though..

I'm assuming they were deleted

Also when correcting someone who has posted misinformation.. please try to be respectful.. the integra forum is a community.. we should all be able to get along and discuss our cars in a respectful manner.. If flaming is done.. it better be to give some one a nice education

Good job on fixing the misinformation

Carry along now...

well all of that was funny. i was not aware wiseco made cranks lol. and 10.8:1 compression is fine just takes less boost to make the same amount of power. and you cheapest and best bet is to put a vtec head on it. not v-tec or vtech. talk about a whole thread of misinformation.

my bad im new to honda tech, i was not sure, should have let him know about that, i just didn't take to being spoken down upon, we are all here to learn, especially me as far as when it comes to swapping, but yeah wiesco makes good cranks, as far as i've seen.

not getting into the argument dealio again, but no i am not a streetracer, i don't feel you should make accusations. Everyone enjoys a drive and a little fun, but no i do not streetrace, just enjoy modifying and sharing modification information

it is a lucky buy though always wanted a four door but when your working as a cook and live around me, its hard to come buy one that you can afford. so i settled with my da, for 700

biggggg project

What's the highest I can rev my car up to on stock internals. ALL I HAVE is a lightened fly wheel and clutch. other than that, stock internals and LS ecu. I've been taking it to 7.2k...is that too high?
