Default 2000 accord fan will not turn on

hey guys,

I have a 2000 accord and when i try to let it warm up the fan doesnt turn on but it starts to go like 3/4's of the needle up to over heat, then i turn the car off to let it warm up

Does anyone know where the relay or the fuse is? or do you think there is a problem with the fan motor? Is there a way I can tap into the fan motor to start it up?

thanks guys

Does the fan come on when the AC is turned on. You can hot wire the fan at its connector (disconnected) straight from the battery for testing purposes only and recommend you put a fuse in one of the wires that you use as a jumpers.

Does your underhood fuse box have a cover with picture and name for the fuses and relays?

The fuse box is cover warned out can't see the fuse location. I will try to jump it to the battery for testing only. I will also go and turn on the AC as well to see if it still goes on. thanks

Easiest as Victor said is to just unplug the fans and wire direct to battery - it'll rule out if the motor is bad or not.
