Need Quick Help-Removing Alternator Pulley Bolt
I've done in depth searching today for quite some time. How do you get the alternator pulley off with an impact gun? There's no room down there to get a straight angle. Or what is the best way?
Please be descriptive on the process and let me know the exact name of the tools I will need besides a pry bar. TIA

The alternator one is wayyyyyyy bigger than stock and it does not spin nearly as fast as it should at idle.My car dies and lights dim at idle! Luckily I saved the OEM pulley.
there's really no easy way. If you don't mind ruining your aftermarket one you can use a pair of channel-locks and hold it tight but that might even still slip
Here's a pic of what I bought....alternator one on right side...

I do not mind messing it up, and I'm mainly concerned on what will break the bolt loose without stripping it? and providing enough torque to break it loose?

Wedge a screw driver in between a hole in the pulley and somewhere strong then hit it with the impact gun with an extension.
