exhaust leak
i have and exhaust leak on the akle back part of my exhaust. I know what the problem its a broken gasket i was wondering if anyone knew any easy way to fix the problem without buying a new gasket?
For the sake of $20 just buy a new gasket and bolt/spring kit. Use a grinder or cutting torch and cut off the old bolts & springs. Then replace the gasket and bolts/springs with new ones.

And......... your point is?
It's still just a gasket and a couple of bolts isn't it? What diameter piping is it? And what type of flange is connecting the two pieces?
I highly doubt that it's a rare size that no one has the parts to fit it......Once you find out what size it is and what type of flange it is. Go down to your local exhaust shop and ask them for those particular sized parts.....
