Getting ready to do my harness but I need some help...
I still need a bolt in roll bar!!! Kirk? Autopower? Which is better and why? Back seat able to stay in with either of them?
How do I mount the harness? Anyone want to help me do it or should I goto a shop?
Searched and came up blank. I have the Autopower website but thats it. I would liek some recomendations from personal experiances

the autopower is the cheapest/safest bet.
There is a single bar that goes across the front seatbelts holes, but if you flip you're screwed....so stay with the cages....
you can keep you backseats with it, but it's not safe having someone site back there (I'm trying to find one that is!!!).
kirk's are built a little better, and give more room in the back seats....

What I did:
PARTS
Autopower rollbar with harness bar
Sparco 5-point harness (any good 5-point will do. I have an Auto-Pro on the passenger side)
1 1" eyebolt
1 1.5" eyebolt
1 1.5"eyebolt with associated washers and nylock nut
3 clip-on belt ends
INSTALL
-Install rollbar
-While front seat is out, remove the plastic cover on the inside of the seat bottom and replace the bolt holding on the seatbelt anchor with the 1" eyebolt. While the cover is off, cut a 1" hole for the eyebolt to stick through.
-Remove the plastic cover from the outer end of the seatbelt, behind the door, and replace the bolt with a 1.5" eyebolt. If there are spacers on the original bolt, you may have to leave one of them out.
-Find a center-point on the floor under the seat, cut a 2" X through the carpet. and drill a 5/8"(?) hole through the floor, after making sure there's nothing important under there. Bolt in the remaining 1.5" eyebolt using the washers and nut.
-Install the seat.
-Install the clip-on belt ends on the lap belt and sub belt. clip the lap belt to the eyebolts at the sides of the seat, and the sub to the one under the seat. Adjust as needed. (note: the sub can go over the front of the seat if you don't have a hole for it)
-Install the shoulder belts on the harness bar, using the double-slotted locking plates. Adjust as needed.
When in doubt, just stop and think for a minute. It'll come to you if you approach it logically.
(Optionally, get a 6-point harness and one other clip-on end and clip the sub ends to the eyebolts at the sides of the seat. No holes in floor this way.)
I only use the harness for auto-x and track, and pull the lap belt and sub out for daily driving. I let the shoulder belts hang and tuck them under the rear floor mat to stop rattles.
Good luck.

I just put the sabelts 3" 5pt's in and I love them. Do not go cheep. I also bought a g-force harness and the buckle is very large and very heavy. The seabelt was a good purchase.
well Ive already got the harness. Its the Takata. I just need to know where to pick up the kirk roll bar. Kirk is the bolt in with out cutting the plastic right?
