squeaking shocks
I only hear this when i go over a medium high to steeply high speed bump(slowly) and it is starting to get annoying. I have a 95 LX 4 door with GR2's and dropzone springs, the shocks were installed in March of last year and i'm thinking that under normal driving conditions
they should not need to be replaced already. As far as the ride is concerned i have no complaints, no hitting or rubbing it drives just like stock except for the squeak over bumps. Can anything be done to resolve this besides replacing the shocks.

Replacing the lower Ball Joints. I'd also check the front sway bar inner mounting bushings.
The struts have a few common issues, but it usually isn't squeeking.
You can get a knocking noise over bumps from the upper mount bushings.
You can loose damping from age and general wear.
They can leak from the shaft seal and loose damping that way and lastly
You can get a "sproing' noise if the spring isn't positioned properly.
The assembly grease in these non-servicable ball joints drys out over time, starving the joint of lubrication. They often start "creaking" from above average suspension movements.
Honda came out with a TSB on this condition along with a suggested "fix". The fix was more elaborate than the labor it would take to just replace them (Honda just wanted to save the cost of the Ball Joints)
