Default Jumpy transmission

I have a 92 accord ex auto. It shifted rough and you can feel it change gears each time, not known for automatics. But everyone says it is usually like that on the 4th gen autmatics. is this true? My transmission is rebuilt too...

Yup, its true. You feel everything. Its not a Buick. Keep it in D3 and in "sport mod" and let up a little before it shifts and it will be a little smoother.

I have a 91 Accord ex auto trans with a whine that sounds like its coming from the trans i only noticed it after it gets warm. I've noticed this on other 4th gens but not to this extent. Whats the problem? HELP. It has 205000mi on it.

if its really-really jumpy (kinda like a *burst* when it shifts gears), it could be your auto-tranny is overfilled. Autotrannies are super-touchy to be overfilled....
