My lower ball joint separated when i was driving.. needless to say all my ball joints blew along with my axle. I replaced them but had some squeak coming from my passenger side wheel area. I checked my strut and the actual strut part looked ok, no leaks. The upper part that sticks out in the engine bay had a little oil around it.

I replaced my axle, upper and lower ball joints. Any other suggestions what it could be?

 

Uper and lower control arm bushes, and maybe steering rack.
They would of had alot of pressure on them when the ball joint came out.

 

Stand by the strut/shock and push down on the body where it is. Make the car bounce and see fi it squeaks.

Otherwise, retorque that whole suspension on that side of the car and that alone may do wonders, but very frustrating.

I agree with majin that it could be bushings being shot and you hear metal vs metal.

Last night I was driving and noticed it made the squeak when taking off from first and when i let off the gas for a few seconds and gassed it. It also was squeaking a bit when just driving regularly.
I looked at the bushings and they were a little beat up but they didn't look that bad but I'm no expert in bushings. How can I tell if my steering rack is damaged?

 

any help?
