Default Q's before purchasing Koni Yellow.

Hello to all,

Decided to overhaul my suspension and replace my illuminas with Yellow a few questions I have.

First does this come with a brake line mount or do I have to use the stock OEM one which I do not have, this is why I ask

Second what kind of adjustment do you have in the front, I know its a **** but does it click, does it have numbers in them or just turn and turn with out any clue which setting are you in.

I think that covers it for now.

Thanks

They do not come with brake line mounts. Most people (including myself) simply use two interlocking zip ties to secure the brake lines - one around the damper body, and the other around the brake line and through the first tie.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Second what kind of adjustment do you have in the front, I know its a **** but does it click, does it have numbers in them or just turn and turn with out any clue which setting are you in.</TD></TR></TABLE>
The **** is a separate piece and has a slot-shaped hole that fits onto the adjuster blade at the end of the piston rod. There are no clicks, but there are positive stops at each end of the adjustment range which is roughly two full turns, plus or minus. Adjustments within that range are infinite. You simply start at the extreme firm setting (or the extreme soft, but remember to start adjusting all dampers from the same extreme) and turn the **** to where you want it i the adjustment range while counting the number of turns. Use the trianglar logo on the **** to help keep track of how many turns you've made.

I recommend not to set them to the firmest setting and leave them there. Occasionally, the adjuster can jam or stick in that setting. When I want maximum rebound force, I usually set mine about 1/8 or 1/16-turn from full stiffness.

1. u have to use the oem brake line mount... just tap it out from the stock strut

2. the settings does not click just 2 turns left or right as mention above..no numbers just
firm or soft setting depend on what u want

I do not have my OEM shocks anymore that is why I asked if it comes with the brake line mount.

Thanks
