Not understanding why you would need to reroute your brake lines.

Because he did not remove the brake line bracket from the oem struts and put them on the Koni's. You need to do this!!!!
**I hope you did not throw away your old oem struts yet, those brackets can't be bought separately**

The instructions that come with the koni's are not very clear. You need to remove the brackets from the oem struts. you also need to remove the bracket that aligns the koni with the lower wishbone.

I managed to get the OEM brake mounting bracket onto my Tien SS coilovers - the diameter required to mount the base of the coilover into the fork is the diameter required to mount the brake bracket, so most struts and coilovers have an inch of extra length at this diameter to allow for it.
If they don't, like my new Buddy Club coilovers, which have about an inch less length at the smaller diameter and a WAY fatter strut, then you can't use OEM brackets. I'm in the process of trying to figure out what the dangers of keeping the brake lines afloat is.
For now I have them looped around the struts as they were when they were mounted, and if there are no serious dangers, will probably just use zip ties.

sorry for bringing the old thread up, but can you mount konis without the brake line mount braket? I was running kyb agx before that and I did not have the stock shock brake lines.

Go to the junkyard, buy the brackets or busted shocks with them?
"how did you attach the OEM bracket to the Struts???" Knock the bracket off the old shocks using a hammer and punch, and with the shock between your thighs, carefully tap it on with a hammer. Don't hit your junk.
