This thing has been sitting on a shelf in my garage cabinets for about 5 years now, and in'm not sure what application (TD-81U on housing) it's for or if usable. Pretty sure the box (to the right of the plug in the pic) is melted/damaged...

Through some searching, i'm thinking it's from a 96 - 01 Type-R or 96 - 01 GS-R.

Anyone have any thoughts?

put it on and give it a shot, its the normal obd2 B-vtec dizzy

 

to see if it works put it on and take one of the spark plug wires out and put a screwdriver inside of it,(you might want to put it on top of the headers),try to turn the car on,if it shoots a spark it works(it's a little spark nothing to worry about)
