Default Brake Pads Whats good



What im wanting to know is what is a good brand name set of brake pads, as in performance, durabilty and price. So tell me what u think are good.

whats the car used for? if its daily driven i recommend the wagner cermanic pads from o'reilly auto parts! works great for me.

if your into something cheap and if you brake alot and hard, i would go with some duralast brake pads perferrably the duralast cmax. they come with lifetime warrantys, so whenever your brake pads are low, you can get new ones no questions asked, no more money needed. I work for autozone

i just bought duralast gold pads for my daily driver, along with duralast rotors.

if u want good rotors look into the brembo there not that much money if u shop around i no people that have picked up all 4 for there integra for 175 off ebay and as for pads i have endless and i love them there a little pricey but i feel there worth the money..

The CMax also come with a hardware kit and shims IIRC.

I've got Duralast rotors and Hawk HPS brake pads. They work well, but the pads get the wheels very dusty. I'm a nearly compulsive car washer though, so it's no big deal.

I would stay away from slotted rotors, just get brembo blanks and Hawk pads. Check out tirerack for help on choosing what pad is best.

I bought Brembo blanks with Satisfied Gransport 5 pads.

100 - 850 degree operating temp ftw! They are very dusty though.

why should i stay away from slotted tho? i was looking into brembo replacements or even bear?, but it looks like duralast pads are good, what do u think about ebc tho?
