what k20 comes with a 6 speed transmission in a 2005 civic hatch?

It is the K20a3, but it is 5 speed, not 6. Only the civic type R had 6 speed but was not available in the US market

Actually kind of not really. I dunno how much I like the feel of a six speed. I hated driving the S2000s I test drove. I always forgot about 6th and kept getting confused. I guess I would get used to it though.

When I did the K20a ITR swap into my civic, the transition to 6-speed wasn't much of a deal. The initial 5 gears were in the same spot as before, you just have to go over a little further for reverse. Other than that, not much different

yours after you swap a trans into yours

none. the ep3 shifters can be modified to fit a 6 speed tho. i have a modified ep3 shifter in the audio consle of my ej1.

alot of jdm ricer kids flame me for it. oh no you should have paid for the karcepts kit. ya like i need to pay 120 for a piece of aluminum rtv and 4 bolts while cutting a huge hole in my chassis LOL
