Posted this in the transmission forum as well but maybe you guys would have an idea about this issue.

Hey guys I have a problem with my 98 integra.
I was driving on the highway everything was fine until I went to shift and the clutch pedal was really heavy. It was hard to pull it out of gear and I could not put it into a lower gear without bliping the throttle.

At a stop the clutch some times gets back to being easy to push but at times it gets stiff and I have trouble getting it into gear. The stiffness sometimes goes away when I push the clutch all the way down and it sort of clicks and gives in.

When the car is off the pedal is easy to push and I can get into every gear without a problem.

I made it back to my house but it is now dark out, what should I check for tomorrow? Is it a problem with the clutch or transmission?
