Default Disabling immobilizer on a p5p (5g Lude)

I was told to either get the ecu I picked up recoded or just remove the immobilizer inside the ecu. Well I did the latter but I need to know if there is any other things that need to be done. The car still has a immobilizer black box on the steering colume (Car wont crank if disconnected). I still cant get the car to start but this ecu is questionable I have another but I don't want to damage it before finding out if there is anything else I need to do. I don't have the original ecu for the car and I know the car runs with my p28 s300.

If you dont need the car to be OBD2 for emissions, then run an OBD1 ECU...it wont look for the immobilizer.

If you successfully remove and disable the immo in the OBD2 ECU though, you shouldnt have to worry about the black box on the column. That is just a radio receiver that tells the ECU when the right key is in the ignition. The ECU is what keeps the car from starting.
