Default Re: powder coating rotas? (418whpturboD)

My Rotas came painted, not power coated.

Part of powder coating involves heating the metal. High enough heat can reduce the strength of a cast wheel. Whether or not the heat involved in powder coating is high enough, I can't say (never done the research).

I have been told it weakens a cast wheel, but one should never take "I was once told" as absolute truth. In other words, sorry I can't answer the question.
