k20a2 cams in a k24 (cr-v)
OK, now that i got that figured, How do i go about doing this. Can I just replace the cams?, or do I have to replace the whole thing, rockers, and valves?....and are the k20a2 cam even compatible with the k24 block.?
Thats what i was planing to do, but i was reading around, and second guessed myself, will it work tho?..without modifying?
Also, is it true that a K24a4 block cant mate up with the k20a2 head?...because i plan to do this down the road, (after winter). I was reading somewhere and someone said .......................
(QUOTE) "a4's cannot mate with the a2 head out of the box due to Piston-to-valve clearance issues. the a1/a2 have no problems."
That sucks!,.....can anyone confirm this??

Did some searching. The k24a4 is only VTEC on the intake cam. Where the k20 is vtec on both and vtc. So to add the cams to the head would be a swap of the whole rocker assembly and you need to change out the complete valve train from an a2 and flip the pin to lock one of the lobes since u have no LMAs.
