i have a 92 h22 engine, i wanted to know if anybody knew if i would be able to put a 97 skunk 2 intake manifold on a 92. If not, then why? people have told me it can't be done but i want to know why this is....thank you.

 

i thought all h series bolt up

 

I'm betting its a clearance issue because the 4th gens firewall is closer to the motor

its close, but you can do it.

 

There is no difference in the manifold for 4th or 5th gens. The manifold is sold to fit (92-01). As far as firewall clearance, there is no issue at all.

 

What about for a 5th gen Type SH? Will it fit? Is there a reason why it says not for Type SH model (from the Skunk2 website)?

 

Im pretty sure the Base model and the SH model uses the same manifold but the quote me on that though.

 

No EGR.
