hi, so i recently did an automatic - manual swap.. everything is fine except for the clutch pedal.. when i compared my prelude to my friends prelude everything looked identical, but like all clutch pedals, it has some free play where its loose near the top (about 1 inch free play) and not stiff until where the clutch starts to engage.. but instead my clutch pedal is stiff from top to bottom. And when i drive i have to let my clutch go alllllll the way to the top before my car starts to go and if i let go of my clutch slowly all the way to the top without gasing it, it wont even stall... what can be the problem?

note: i installed the clutch pedal by bolting it down onto the bar that goes across the car under the dashboard.
