He's just referring to your car being an EJ not an EK. EK is what people call hatchbacks usually. Although US hatchbacks are actually EJs too.

What's up with the rear seats? Never seen those in an EJ before. Are they from the FG Si coupe? FG Si sedan? (I don't even know if the coupe and sedan seats are different on the new Civics, haha)

THANKS ALOT MAN YEA INTERIOR IS FROM THE NEW CIVIC SI THE REAR SEATS FIT IN LIKE IT WAS STOCK CAUSE THE REAR OF MY COUPE HAS A 40/60 SPLIT AND SO DOES THE NEWER CIVIC SI'S THEY LOCK IN PERFECT ON THE LEFT SIDE N THE RIGHT SIDE I BROKE THE METAL HINGE N MOVE IT BY WELDING IT AND NOW THE RIGHT SIDE CLIPS IN LIKE STOCK NOW THEY FOLD DOWN WITH MY KEY. I HAVE LOTS MORE TO DO FOR MY INTERIOR AS U CAN SEE ITS BLACK USED THE SEM LANDAU PAINT LOOKS GREAT

 

So your EK got stolen............then your EK got recovered.......and the thieves put an si interior into your EK for you?

 

lol i knew there were smart asses on this forum i recovered it was thinking of selling but just did something diffferent to my interior wanted to be unique

 

You should of just bought an Si instead of making your EJ6 look like one.

 

but the problem is i dont like the rest of the si interior see i see that every generation has its good n bad things i decided to take some iof good from each generation to make sonething better n im not done

well i tried to like the 96-98 front but prefer the 99-00 especially how the fogs go on it. im more of a crx man i just got into ek's 9 months ago so im not too familiar with whats right or wrong but this seemed right n unique cause i know not too many people having the look im going for n im glad

 

rules and norms really dont change from car to car.........

Sweet How long ago did you do the interior black? Has it been scratching off or anything?

 

WTF is a EK COUPE. No such thing as an EK coupe man. You probaly have a ej8 or ej6.
