just wondering why at autozone, performance wires cost 99 bucks while on ebay they cost 25 + shipping=35. I mean is there some sort of insulation difference or what?

unless you got some crazy fully built race motor wires arent going to do a darn thing except look pretty ...

 

Get the OEM ones straight from Honda for ~$50.

 

so new wires offer no performance increase? i dont think the old ones are messed up or anything but i do think its been at least 50,000 miles since they were replaced

 

you will only see a difference if its already time to replace your old wires ...

 

On my 02, I changed the plugs and wires at 95k, along with the timing belt. I did not notice any difference. Gotta love the Honda engineering; 100k miles and it still runs like new.
