Yet another Carsound cat question..... confused on installation...
Just got it today, thanks Dave for the quick shipment....
I'm kinda dumb when it comes to this kind of stuff but at the end where the cat connects to the stock ITR b-pipe... this doesn't look like it's going to fit... the outlet for the cat seems a lot larger than that of the stock itr b-pipe... would the b-pipe go INTO the cat, or do I need a flange of some sort? here's a picture, thanks!

This is how it should be installed correct? Thanks in advance...

I got the reducer flange from Dave along with the cat (94066).
I'll take pics and quick measurements for you.
And, nice elephant cameo.

It fits just fine. There will be "step" in pipe sizing going from the 2.5" cat to the 2" b-pipe flange. You can get rid of the "step" by adding a reducer onto the b-pipe.
But it will fits the stock b-pipe without modifications (the three bolt flanges line up perfectly).

It looks like there is already a reducer flange welded onto my cat. Which end bolts up into the JDM 4-1?
Look at this picture:

Is this how the cat should be, or should it be flipped? It fits onto the header with the "reducer" flange like this... but if I flip it... it won't go into the header...

Ok... thanks... so I can order the "reducer" from Dave @ SMS also?
I guess you don't need the tracking number anymore

if youre looking to tap more power from your exhaust in the future, i would just bolt up what you have at the moment and deal with the reduction in piping later with an aftermarket bpipe. that would also get rid of the 2 bottlenecks on the stock bpipe as well.
Ah yes... this is what I plan to do... but I gotta take my header to a muffler shop tomorrow morning to see if they can get some reinforcement welds done for me! I can't wait!
Thanks for the reply Dave!

the donut gasket that is located at the header to cat connection, is that the s2000 donut gasket?
BTW. Why are there two gaskets. The white one is the S2000 one, right? What is that metallic/brown one?
