Looks clean as hell. But are you comfortable buying a car that has already been boosted? Idk, I'm not.

Not bad for what you're getting, It would probably cost you more than that to piece that car together. Just take it to shop to get it looked at, get a compression test yadda yadda.

There is no mention of an engine management in that list. Is there any? If not, 55k on an untuned FI application =

yeah its a nice car, but something doesnt seem right about spending that much on it.

maybe if it had a/c, ps, cruise, abs still installed

but 7800 isnt exactly a rip off either.

i bet he's selling it much lower than what an NA gsr would go for since people are generally afraid of boosted used cars.

think about those factors too if you may want to sell the car down the road

some other thoughts...

what is the original trim level of the car?

what is the status of the title?

who pays for a JDM b18b engine swap? LOL I mean really...even if you are going to go F/I you will make more power by choosing a B18C.

It had engine management unit tuned but it was stolen. However the mapping stayed so it is tuned fine at the moment. However he has bigger injectors he is throwing in and I want to tune it with those.

Well that picture of the engine bay clearly shows a wire tuck and lack of PS/AC/ABS/Cruise. I would be skeptical if that's what he is telling you.

This sentence doesn't make much sense.

I pay for a jdm b18b..or a usdm b18b1.. Didn't have enough money for a gsr longblock.. so why not.. LS engines are great with boost & make great power..

On second thought.. i've seen this car posted forsale here on honda-tech.. or an identical one.. just cant find the post..

the car looks great from the pictures. but then again they are pictures and you cant tell much. you should really inspect the car from the bottom to top. look everywhere and take a ride with the radio off so you can hear everything. i see that the battery is relocated so check all the wiring he did. make sure they are fused and stuff like that.

Here is an update:
Car has no PS, AC, ABS or Cruise. He removed the PS & AC cause he wanted a clean engine bay.

However he has all the power steering parts and AC components and EZ lines and everything which is included in the sale. So I can always put them back on. AC will probably go in next summer =p

I drove it without the Power Steering and it felt good, had no issues at all. Only really feel it when your going slower than 3mph and turning and its really not that bad.

Also the title is salvage but it was a stolen recovery. All the windows match the original car vin number and my buddy who paints cars and does body work told me this car has never seen a major wreck.

This piece has also been replaced as the ITR was the only model without the hole there for the intake resonator. Edit: was it replaced or was the hole welded shut when the bay was shaved? Also it appears that it is a gsr as is has the studs where the oem strut bar would go which were only on the gsr and ITR models.

Is this good or bad? Carfax came out clean, reported stolen and was recovered. Has all original windows with matching vins. My carbody expert said car was never in any wreck and he checked it thoroughly. Car runs good. It just needs a tuning im taking it to get Tuned ASAP.

Is a Hondata S300 good to tune an LS F/1 Motor?
