Default Another p5p but no injector ground

I just picked up another computer for my lude so it will pass smog. But again the injectors aren't getting the ground to work. I have a hard time believing its a bad computer but am I missing something? I was thinking that the security system (factory) is what the problem is , do I need to disable this to get the computer to work? I just find it odd that the car runs great with the p28 s300 (no mods done to the stock wiring) but cant get the car to run stock again. I made the mistake to sell my cars originals computer.

Immobilizer. The p28 bypasses it but the p5p is looking for the code from the key.

Well the ecu I picked up was a 98 base I think, I also have a 97 sh ecu but both wont fire the engine. I just want to know if there is something I need to do for it to work or should it be a plug and play. The engine runs fine with the S300, I used an adapter to connect the s300 so no wires were moved and the only other thing I changed was removing the secondary vacume assembly and disconnecting the egr which i plugged back in. I tested the injector wires and I have power but no ground switching. Havent tested the spark but either way it wont run. Would the immoilizer stop the injectors? The car has no alarm on it, other then the turbo setuip its stock (High volume fuel pump, tubing , exhaust and injectors ) I swapped the injectors back to stock, the pump runs and it cranks.

Do you have the original ecu for the car?

It's the immobilizer. You either need to have the vehicle taken to a dealer and have the ecu coded, or remove the immobilizer board from the ecu. It's the daughter board in location HIC1.

is the Immobilizer hard to remove? or pretty straightforward, a few spots to disconnect?

You actually have to remove the immobilizer board which meens you have to desolder the connections.

Try desolder braid and a soldering iron. Just don't burn your board.
