Default f22a1 t-belt broke

timing belt broke took exuast manifold and intake off took a look at valves will spining head over they all seem to seal and function normal. Put new belt on and turned engine over by hand and ran compression had 30psi could barely turn it sounds solid but every one I talked to said it would be shot what are my odds that the engine is fine

30 psi in a cylinder is never good. Your gonna have to take the head off.

Do a leakdown test on it first.

If it's good put a cap full of oil down the spark plug hole in the cylinder with bad compression then test it again. If your compression jumps up then your
rings are probably shot.
