Default Catback quality

This seems like a good price to me for this catback. I have searched but cant find any customer reviews on the company or product.

http://www.erzperformance.com/...65744

Is it worth the money if I have $250? & What will be the benefits to this? I'm assuming that it will give my car some more pickup, but will it effect the MPG? If so, good or bad?

Also, would it fit up perfectly with this Header?

It shouldn't effect gas milage if you're driving style doesn't change.

I can't comment on the system cuz (even by their standards) it's too new and I've had no exposure to that manufacturer.
The proof will be the noise level and the gauge of metal they use.

Compared to the pricing of some of the more established Exhaust Manufacturers (Magnaflow, Apexi etc) the price is attractive (but low). Hopefully this isn't one of those "get what you pay for" exercises.

Can you purchase different gaskets, such as OEM, and install them in the beginning? Or will those not work for the Megan products?

Very interesting. It looks like a pretty good quality exhaust. My biggest concern is the noise level.

I'll try and YouTube it when I get time. I'll post up any results I encounter.

On my '97 SE I first went with the Magnaflow system.
After two months of my wife refusing to drive or ride in the car, I ripped out the Magnaflow (Thanking Mario Andretti for his time).
I not only couldn't hear myself think, but my audio system was useless.

I settled on the Apexi World Sport 2 (WSll) system. I've been very happy for two years now, and the stainless is as bright today as the day I installed it.

The sound is my biggest concern. I'll be driving my family around and Ive had loud exhaust before. It was pain to my ears.

It doesn't get loud PERIOD, and that was what I was looking for.
As you can tell from my picture, I'm not young (by any means) and I've long ago put aside the testosterone driven desire for more / louder / bigger.
Give me a car that goes like &^*%$, carves thru the twisties and allows me to enjoy a tune or two; and I'm happy.

the Apexi's advantage is that big 'honk'n Muffler. It's one of only a few that utilize a blanket wrapped 'expansion' type muffler, unlike the more romantic Glass Pack flow-thru types. This translates into a very pleasant sound on the outside, but the noise isn't radiated into the passanger compartment.

Additional benefits I've noticed:
1) The intake symphony is more pronounced
2) I've noticed an increase in torque
3) I'm not dealing with the local constabulary any more (due to noise issues anyway )

Would a Megan muffler control the loud, ricey noise of a Tsudo (ebay) catback system? I want to look into 2.5" piping, then swap my Megan muffler(which I love) on to it.
What is the stock Accord piping diameter? 2.0" ?
