How do i go lower?
I have coilovers and im rollin on 99-00 stock si's with 205 50 15's...if i go a 195 will i be able to drop it alot more? i see civics out there that are slammed way lower than me but i wanna be able to turn still...im as low as i can go right now cuase of my front fenders and i dont wanna lower it more in the back cuase it wont be even, i mean i could totally slam it but i wouldnt be able to turn anywere...any tips?
only way can slam it so where u wont worry about damaging car. get small tires try 205 40 help lot just got watch out for potholes an if u got coldair intake.
roll the fenders, take out the plastic coverings inside, get smaller tires, and drop it. That simple because thats all I did and I am low as hell. I'm like maybe an inch off the ground....
Yeah, keep the 205 widths and instead go with a 45 or 40 sidewall. The 40 should give you about another 1/2 inch or so of drop.
Depending on your offsets, if you drop that hard, you may need a fender roll.
But remember, more drop = less suspension travel = worse handling. What do you want more: to corner hard or scrape speedbumps?

i dont believe they make a 40 series tire for a 15 inch wheel. op, why dont you post some pics, so we can see how low you already are. have you considered air ride? if you want to be past a certain point, its the only way to go.....
they make a 195/45 - 15 but if you want to go lower, step up and spend the money and get a good suspension setup. If you want to go lower than the coilovers allow, maybe get some of the held motorsports lowering spindles and trailing arms. They lower it another 1.5 inches. Otherwise, go with air ride if you want to be really slammed.
Thanks for the threads...i can go alot lower...dont want air ride...been a minitrucker b4...gay...i can go as low as i want really but i dont wanna rub fender like most of the people in that thread look like their doing...i might just say [freak] it and do it anyway im working on posting some pix but its slow...
wow something must be wrong with your car. I can slam my civic all the way to the ground and it still wouldn't scrape. I have 195/50/15 in the front. I raised my car back up because it was too bouncy. My suspension set up is Dropzone struts,Tien coil overs, camber kit and a whole bunch of sway bars. Try some 195 and roll your fenders.
How do I roll my fenders? I don't know what that means...it might not help that those tires are brand new and I think ek skirts would help Ill try 195 45 15's and try some more suspension stuff like bars and struts

if your going to try and roll your fenders its basically folding the inside of you fender so that you have more clearance. simply just remove your fender and take a baseball bat and roll it over it with a sufficient amount of pressure.
my friend!! tha tire thats supposed to be on those wheels are 195 55 r15!!! that WILL make it lower!!!! you can go 195 50 r15 and go even lower!!!!!!!!!!!!.... why do you have those monster truck tires on them??? bet it rides like a caddy!!!!! change the tires and dump tha bitch!!!
Coo yea I wanna go either 195 45 or 50 so yea I think that's what ill do...and one of my shocks or coils is making a loud like bed spring noise when I hit a slight bump or dip in the road its [freak]in annoying as hell...any thoughts?
go to a 195/50/15 tire. no smaller. your struts are probably blown by now making some noise. Going lower will only make it worst. And you should get some proper lugnuts on those wheels. those look like acorn tuners. those wheels require ball seat lugnuts.
stock wheels = stock lug nuts
195-50 is a good size, its not like your making enough power to just melt them through third gear anyway.
instead of being all super "dumped" you should get a good suspension setup. dumped on stock wheels is gay.
