Every time i back up i hear a cracking or crackling noise coming from my passenger side suspension area. what could it be?

 

cv joint? does it do it when the wheel is turned and u give it gas?

do you have any suspention work done? lowered?
or is it all stock?
front or rear?

need info....

 

i got monroe struts thats stock but not stock, everythign else is stock, yeah when i turn it makes that noise and i think when i just back up normally also makes noise. my cv is kinda has a curve in it when it spins like the rod itself.

 

yesterday when i jacked the car up it made that noise while jacking it. lol.

but that is what it sounds like...
it would do it in forward and reverse and with the wheel turned to that side
i drove on one for about a year before i got around to fixing it...

 

when i turn sharpely it sounds like something grinding against something else. PLUS THE CRACKIN SOUND
