Default EG head lights. Which ones you find have the best out put. No projectors or one piece.

Im curious i have not driven my eg yet. Im just pieceing it together, I remeber few friends telling me over and over the stock head lights blow. So im wondering do the JDM head lights have better output or what other options is there.

I was thinking of getting a set of those clear glass lens jobbies and gutting them and putting a set of projectors and HID's in them, but not sure yet.

Anyone post what you used or pics or links.

thanks

I had stock lights with sylvana bulbs before I put my jdm units in. The overall output on the usdm lights sucked and I could barely see at night.

I have to say that the jdm lights has made night driving a little more enjoyable. I can see better then ever. Even my girl mentioned that they look better and she payed for them. HEHE
This is from my experience so others may have different opinions.

WOW! Mini-Hid's.....?....I don't know about that one buddy.

Just get a set of HID's from ebay. They are around $80, at least for Eg's. I agree that the stock lights suck.

Well the thing is with those jdm headlights is that they have a cutoff opposite to the usdm ones, so the thing would be is that you'll be blinding drivers and hitting deer or people to the right of you instead, I've seen the jdm ones and they are basically the same except they are "jdm" and are not worth it. If you don't like your current headlights then take them off and drive with night vision.

Yes because they're JDM and everything JDM is better.

Headlamps are headlamps, all they are is a housing that holds bulbs. Some are just designed better than others.

I'm running Denji projectors on my car. I love them.

keyword there is 'looks' as bright... those things you took off are more than just glare guards... they help direct the light to the road...

now the light is all over the place instead of directing it to where its needed which is on the road... so basically, by taking off that piece, your headlights are just blinding everyone ...

WOW guys some stupid **** being posted up. JDM laws a different then North america. I know the JDM will have a RHD cut off thats why i asked.

My crx with the JDM head lights were night and day. The usdm was like driving around with a candle and the JDM with a flashlight.

Post usualy information. I am not gonna slap HID bulbs in my stock head lights. Thats like driving with CASPER. I wanted to know what options there where.

Simple yes the JDM head lights seamed to have a better out put but on the right side lacked light.

I saw a EG coupe with these black out casing with a clear glass no lines, was curious if they were any more brighter in car driving then the OEM.

Sure buddy yeah ill go borrow some nightvison from work GTFOH

JDM headlights are plastic and they suck

Glass ones are probably the best you're going to get, but they're still rubbish

I ran Shark Eyes projectors w/ Catz bulbs back in the day. I prefered my factory lamps with Piaa bulbs.

I love the look of the black housing/clear lens headlamps. Never used them though. Next project...maybe.
