Here's the problem. Currently, my car is rolling on the stock 13inch vx wheels/tires. Feathering the clutch, I'm managing 2.2 60ft times, but the real problem is when shifting into 2nd gear...big time loss of traction.

I like the fact that the wheels are light (9lbs) but i really have a limited choice of tires. I'd like to keep a subtle look...so no fancy, expensive wheels. Do you guys think HX rims would be best? I actually like the look of 98-2001 gsr wheels.

So I just want a wheel that will give me more tire options and not attract too much attention.

I figure I should address this issue before I start making more power. Thanks guys.

look for a set of used rotas..they are dirt cheap.

 

slipstreams are about 12 lbs right?

yes, for 15x6.5 I believe they are 13-14 lbs for 16x7

Ask for Wallee at machiii.net. He's one of the good guys for sure. He called me in Michigan to make sure everything worked out after I had gotten my wheels. How many shops can you say do that for you? So far, it's the only one I've encountered.
