I recently noticed my 4 cyl. 03' accord ex is only getting 275 miles out of a tank i drive mostly around town... my milage comes out to about 20 mpg...I swear when i first bought this car 8 months ago i could get 350 a tank???? car just turned 70k???? maintence required light comes on at startup, but i think thats for my oil, i've never resetted it...and no cel?

I've always tracked how many miles i get per gallon on my 04 Ex AT.
I got it at 34K now it has 52K

In the summers on all hwy trip i get approx 430 miles before the light turns on.
In the summers daily driving 60/40 hwy-city I only get about 370ish
In the winters i'm unsure yet...

 

maybe its the o2 sensor...I have no codes, but I know they can get lazy...

I get about 20MPG as well. 03 Accord Lx 4Cyl. I do mostly city(Buffalo, NY) driving I guess. School is less than 1 minute from me so I make very short trips which adds to the bad gas mileage im gussing and on top of that, Buffalo has been adding 10% ethanol into the gas which is completely useless to me from what I heard from the Honda dealer. On the highway I get about 450 though.

 

I myself make a lot of short trips around town...I've also noticed damn near every gas station has added that 10% ethanol, which I know doesn't help the mileage out...
Maybe your right tz, today I'm gonna go fill up at shell, I know they still haven't added the ethanol!
