NO VTEC!!!!!
i currently have a 93 hatch w/ a B16A (obd1). i recently changed the oil pan because the threading where the drain bolt goes was stripped.
after changing the pan i noticed that the oil light on the dash stays on alittle longer after i start the car.
now i know oil pressure can affect vtec, but how can me changing the pan affect this, why would this happen?

any codes? if there isn't a code your ecu shouldn't be turning off vtec. if there is then often times your car will shut it off to simply protect itself. like stated before me the only possibility is lack of oil pressure but i can't really see that happening.
