threw on springs, rear much lower then front, blown shock?
So i just recently threw on some springs on my beater and noticed the rear is alot lower in the front. We made sure the springs marked R are in the rear and F in the front. Also noticed that one of the rear shocks is leaking and didn't decompress right. People are telling me the rear is alot lower because of the blown shock but it doesn't make sense. Blown shock = effected rebound not compression correct? Here's a pic of how uneven it sits right now.

Did the same thing on my Honda Accord when I had it and I had the same problem. Don't have a solution for you though. For some reason it happens to a lot of people cars when they do it.
damn, its [freak]ing annoying but i got gr2's/skunk2 springs then switched out the skunk2s for intrax. Maybe the struts aren't for the DA. How'd your eg front struts fit ? are you using eg forks also?

my old tokico springs were off a tad, not that bad but still. some brands of springs do fit better than others. to date my favorite spring on the DC is the tein h tech. height is great and the rates are perfect for a DD and weekend track use. no ideas on the DA or what you might try. what you had happen is common though. if you keep those springs i would be half tempted to cut half a coil on the front. maybe 1 coil tops to even it out.
check that you dont have front springs on rear.
check that you didnt previously have ef civic shocks on the rear.
The front normaly looks a bit high due to the wheel arch being cut higher then the rear.
If you are using eg forks they are slightly longer then DA.
How much weight is in the boot?

i actually got the shocks used and the guy had skunk2 springs reversed. I'm starting to think they're civic shocks which explains why he reversed them and why the cars sitting like that now. I'll have to get some da shocks and see if they even out the drop.
We made sure the R springs were in the rear and F in the fronts and they all seat on the shock correctly.

Are you sure the springs are made for an Integra and not a Civic?
You say you had GR2/Skunk2 combo, and you switched the Skunk2 for intrax springs? So the shocks did not change between spring setups, correct?
You should have replaced the bad shock during this process, but a bad shock will not affect ride height. A good or bad shock made for a different car may be too short, which would affect ride height.

yeah thats right, skunk2 springs were switched for intrax with the same shocks. The guy had the skunk2 springs f/r switched and now i think i know why. The struts must not be for the DA. The intrax might be for a civic but the guy that sold them to me had it on his DA and the drop was nice and even.
lesson learned, don't buy used **** even if its for your beater.

Like my car stick my rear setup in a stock da and it will be dragging on the ground.</TD></TR></TABLE>
i don't have a spare but at this height if i had a rear passenger it would scrape all the way.
I might just pick up rear DA specific agx's and see how that helps.
