The tech i work with has a 2000 honda civic with a d16. he recently had intermit problem with spark especially in 2nd gear. the car will randomly die on him and after sitting for like 20 minutes it will start up again. during the 20 minute wait time there is no spark. compression is all good and fuel pressure is good. the car does have a msd ignition set up. we pulled the distributor off and everything looks new. after car cools off a little bit the spark returns and car runs untill driven again. we checked all grounds and wiggled all the wires going to ground. maybe the crank sensor is faulty or maybe msd box is bad?
