can anyone tell me why my car running like this what is wrong
ok i just changed my motor its all usdm everything is the same motor to the car thnx to all u guys ont he forum
and its not quite in tip top shape yet and im hoping to start like a good conversation as to what the problem could be and what the best solution is. I am sayin this because i want my sh to be very clean and smooth i dont want some crazy super fast non atts car my ultimate plan is to go all suspension and keep my atts
because it is sick, so what im looking for are some products and maybe links to where i can buy these items like ex. adjustable suspension,coilovers..etc camber kits good bad..etc.. but ne way here are my problemswhen i start my car it fires right up and once it warms up it starts to bog down a lil bit then goes to like 400 rpm and it almost feels like the timing is off and then it you put it in gear and go it cuts out.starts right back up and does the same thing. also i ordered brand new cv shafts and i did not see base only and mine is an sh and they fit my dad is a machinest and useed a tool to measure the old ones and the new ones is this just a "typo" or am i an idiot? i would greatly appreciate a good disscussion about all my questions like one on one x a ton of forum members just learning as much as i can about my car cuz i have read eeverything!! and not everything directly relates to my situation, because i dont know very much about hondas or the prelude and i want to know as much about my car as i can.( links to additional literature is appreciated too)

how many miles does your car have? when was your last tune-up? why do you type like that, it hurts my head?

there are 75k on the motor and 137 on the body though u would never know it other then the dings in the doors. idk when the last tune up was. type like what? sry didnt mean to hurt ur head... all the problems in the faq do not directly relate to my situation something is always different. i typed like that because 1 i was f'd up and 2 cuz im in a frenzy tryin to get my car on the road and all these little things keep poppin up and its preventing me from drive'n i just look at it in my drive way everyday and know its just not ready yet....it sux dude
well...have you got any answers about your motor rapping out at only 4000 rpm?....because mine does the same thing and i dont know if it is the ECU that needs to be re-mapped or if its the timing,the timing could be a little off?
