Default what other oem cams can i use for ep3?

hi guys, i tried searching but couldn't find what i was looking for.

my friend's 02 civic hatchback si motor was knocking. she said her exhaust cam needs to be replace. can you guys let me know what oem cams i can use? can i use any ep3 exhaust cam from any year? can i use rsx-s cams? thanks in advance.

The car is knocking and she said her cam needs to be replaced? How did she find that out? Is the rocker assembly ok then? How has the cam gone bad?

i havent seen the car yet. her neighbor took her motor apart and said the cams were [freak]ed up. she got it fixed already. i was looking for some cams for her, so i was trying to figure out what other cams would work. haha

yeah i have no idea how the cams gone bad. i wonder if this is a common issue for those civic si's?

This is a VERY common issue on the 02-03 Si because Honda had a batch of bad castings, TONS of people have ran into this issue, especially with higher mileage.
