Car Revs to 5k and Falls on its Face?

I have a 93 Accord and if i take it past 5k it falls on its face and trips the ecu. After that the car wont go past 3k and the ecu is showing code 4. Can anyone help?

Is the spark shield still in place under the distributor rotor?

Beyond that, I'd say it's probably time for a new distributor.
