Dashboard lights flash for several seconds when ignitionion key turned on; HELP.
1998 Accord Sedan; When the ignition key is turned to "ON" the entire dashboard flashes for sevaral seconds and continues even after the car is started. It eventually stops. I also noticed the external lights appear to be flashing as well. Any clues?

FOUND THE PROBLEM! It was the keyless entry system module. Not sure if it was aftermarket or not but I found a module with "Valet Model 711T" and basically it was shorted and was acting as if the ALARM was triggered without the horn. I unplugged it for now. My daughter will just have to use her key.
