why does my gas gauge only work till quarter tank?
when you fill it does it go WAYWAY past full?
the needle may need to be recalibrated or the fuel pump guage is getting bad

Oh also.. when I drove 370 or so miles on the last tank, when it kept reading 1/4 tank left... when I filled it I only put in 10 or 1.5 gallons.. since it's a 12 gallon tank I still had 1.5-2 gallons or so left. Just fyi

i had the same prob in my camaro a few years back!!
The sender was getting caught and wouldn't allow to go down any further, therefor, stop reading. i had to take the fuel pump out and "untangle" it..

what kind of car???????????????? u basically gotta pull the tank on all models!!!!!! pull the tank aswell as sending unit, then with the unit out of the car plug it in and manually go from from the very top to the bottom and see how the guage reacts ( you may need someone looking at your guage for you)...... if it registers fine outta the tank than chances are you got it hung on a baffle during installation... if not then the guage is probably at fault!!!!

It's not about "half assing it".. my GS-T's gas tank can be accessed thru the back seat.. I figured honda may have some ingenuitive way of doing this also.
Is it a pain in the *** to drop the tank?
