Opinions on 95 Hatch Rust
I'm looking at purchasing a 1995 Civic CX Hatch. It has 256km on the clock and most importantly it's a single owner car. Apart from the rear rust, the rest of the car is in great shape and has a very impressive maintenance history.
The rust on the rear arches are troubling me and I'd like some opinions. My original plan was to buy the replacement arches on ebay ($90/pair I think). However, I'm curious if anyone has had experience with them and how good the fitment is. I'm also wondering how much rust the replacement panels will actually reach.
The asking price on this car is fair and if I can get all the rust taken care of for less than $500 (at home, not by a shop) I'll be happy.
Any opinions or thoughts are very appreciated.
Here's some pictures of the damage.

If your good with body work $500 should cover your parts and materials to get rid of the rust. The rear arches go as high as about halfway through the fuel door. Not sure where the Arches from Ebay are made, but my supplier here in Ontario sells the ones from Denmark, and they fit and work very well. Just keep in mind that you may need to build up the inner fenders also (SheetMetal) as That rust looks like its gone through. Good Luck!

Cheers man.
It's kind of sad when you post pictures of rust in the Paint/Body section and only one person comments. Kind of wierd.

The repair panel should be large enough to repair that rust, but as someone said there will be rust on the sills and inner arches too which might not be part of the repair panel. If possible have a look at these areas too, but nothing is beyond repair

Yeah, a bit further north is worse. Try coming up here to look for any decent cars over 10 years old. Friggin road salt. BLAST!
