Reverse Sensors not working...
I think I'm loosing my touch for 12v installation...
A friend of mine got a combo bluetooth/monitor rear view mirror for his car. This also came with backup sensors as well as a backup camera. Everything works fine except for the backup sensors. As soon as they are powered on, the unit yells STOP STOP STOP like your about to hit something, only it constatntly does this and I can't figure out why. Anyone installed this, and have any thoughts?
The sensors themselves are a little angled, and i just turned them around to see if that makes any difference, but i doubt it since now they are just pointed more towards the ground now. The bumper is metal, as this is a 2008 Chevy Express van, but im not sure if that makes a difference...

How many sensors does the unit have?
Where are they installed?
Where and how are you testing it?
It could be a faulty unit or sensor, you could connect one sensor at a time to check. I have seen the location of the sensor cause a false reading as well.

4 sensors, all in the metal rear bumper of the van. Roughly 1ft or so apart, maybe a little more.
It starts yelling STOP as soon as it is powered on. I moved the van around in the driveway and it didn't make a difference. I also unplugged the sensors and plugged in one at a time, which didn't seem to change anything either. If there is a problem with this, I think its in the brain.
