Default Car Wont Start - Fuel Problems

I had to leave my civic parked for two months due to the fact I had to a trip to NY. Before I left I decided to remove the relay and fuel pump fuse for extra security. When I returned and tried to start the car it wont start. The car tries to start, but the fuel pump does not prime. I installed a new fuel pump assembly and main relay, and still no luck. Can anyone help me or give me any advice?

Thanks

I see where some people suggest the thermo ground, but i have no idea where that is and I dont see how that could go bad like that.

this might sound dumb BUT are you sure thats all you removed lol only reason i ask is because one day i faught with my car for hours trying to get it to start . Just to finally remember that i had unplugged the ECU and had forgot about it . since it had been a few days since i drove it . and the thermo ground is built into your wiring harness its a wire thats bolted to one of the 10mm bolts on your thermo housing

I checked everything. Today I tried again and this time the gas gauge actually moved and the car started to give a faint sound when I went back and forth with the key, but I still cannot get the car to start.
Can anyone give me any advice?

why not tr to put back all the old stuff you replaced..
check every details, if your car works fine before you leave im sure you might have overseen some details...
if not, those fule pump relays always act up or become nasty at times.. test it first with 12v power if its working before you install it back, thats the problem i had before, just a little bit of banging and refitting.. works fine til now., lol
