my speedometer is off when im running about 30mph it says 40 and its not that hard to tell when your driving 30 and 40. anyone know the problem and the solution?

I would try that or another speed sensor.. one of them should get it right..

 

wheres the speed sensor located?

 

its on the top of the trann there are wires going in to it with a gary plug on it, all you need to do is take a 10mm and undo the one bolt holding it down, then unplug the plug, and pull out the speedsensor, slowly turn it left and right a little to get it out and there you go.

buy a new one dont go to a junk yard i have gotten 5 and not one has worked

 

Your spedometer could be off because you purchased the wrong tire size...
