It loooks like carbon fiber laminate over the normal plastice switches. The edges look really thin to be actual CF. Could be wrong.

The Genuine item is fake carbon fibre - that part is exaclty the same as my 96 spec JDM ITR.

What does the US ITR window switch surround look like?

Question about the auto roll down, is that in the switch or the window motor?

actually the best thing to do would be to find the company taht sprays the cf look onto plastic **** like that and have them make a run of usdm parts to match the jdm parts. remember they are mirror parts that do not fit unless you do some custom work...like me. but not everyone has teh skills. fyi those parts dont bolt right up!

The switches are str8 from an ITR in japan...i do business with that guy all the time..in fact i bought a pair of those switched your looking at...its just like the cheesy carbon fiber we have in our R's now...which i like.....it makes the car a look a little nicer...if you guys have the means..i highly recommend them..they look kooooooooooool on my ITR

i talked to this guy awhile back about his parts when I was thinking of changing my steering wheel.. he's a reputable ebay seller, pulling parts out of wrecked R's in Japan.. i'm sure he's making a killing off stuff like $80 window switches.. it's fake cf, just like the rest of the ITR interior.. and it also won't bolt in.. same with the rest of the JDM parts..

i wish i knew of some of these "pick a part" jjunk yards in japan, if anyone knows of one hit me up on im, all the ones i went to when i was there wanted you to buy the whole wrecked car and wouldnt peice them out.
