Car: 89 Civic Sedan
Engine: JDM B16A
Mods: ITR intake manifold, ITR throttle body, ITR cams, ITR springs and retainers, Dc sports 4-1 header, 3 angle valve job 2.5 piping, Magna flow stock looking muffle, Stock B16 injectors, Stock fuel pump
I currently have a stock intake from a 91 crx si with a K&N filter
Im debating whether i should go nitrous or not. I have no clue whether to go with A dry kit or a wet kit i would want to run the car strong but staying safe. Im not sure if a 75 shot is to mush or not. I dont know what brand to go with the one i do know that ZEX makes wet nitrous kits but not sure to go with it or not and im not sure what model number to get. I would like some helpful info that will so i can make the correct decision. I also have a holley fuel pump and some higher output injecors but they are not installed on the car. Feedback is appriciated.

nitrous can be a good route to go as long as you do it right, single fogger setups are crap wet or dry, if you going to run nos do it the right way with a direct port wet kit, its more money then the single fogger setup but less risk of blowing up... here is what i had and how long it lasted...
93 integ jdm b16 tranny with lsd
2000 GSR motor 88,XXX miles
jdm b16 obd1 ecu
APEXi vafc with vtec set at 5,100 rpm (no other tune)
AEM cold air intake
Greddy full catback
AEM cam gears set at -0
Skunk2 stage 2 cames
act 6puck
single fogger 60 shot (wet)
motor only lasted 3 months running nos almost every weekend (fri night/ sat night)

All of the same mods but direct port 60 shot (wet) and motor lasted 8 months racing about the same amount of times and i dont think the nos is killed the motor.. leting my girlfriend take the car to school did.
just my 2 cents hope it helped you out.

blew 2 big *** holes in the block (one on the front from #2 piston and one on the back from #3 piston. the 2nd motor (98 GSR) spun a rod and my girl tried to drive it home like that... hole in block, #3 piston.

How did you get two holes on your block on the first motor? What caused that to happen, the nitrous or did something go wrong, ex: low oil?
